Susan (Susie) Ford recently joined the Aerojet Rocketdyne team as the Human Resources Senior Manager for the Huntsville geographic area. Susie supports the Defense Business Unit sectors and Finance team as their HR business partner and will have responsibility for the strategic leadership of human resources activities to support business and organizational objectives across the growing Huntsville sites, including the company’s newly announced third campus in the Jetplex Industrial Park.

Susie joins Aerojet Rocketdyne from with over 15 years’ experience in various HR roles most recently as the HR Senior Manager to the Operations and Test & Flight leadership teams at Blue Origin, and over 10 years at The Boeing Company in various HR business partner roles, supporting both functions and divisions, including domestic and international locations.

Susie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Washington and will graduate with a Master of Science degree in HR Management from the University of Southern California in May of 2023. In addition, she maintains several certifications including Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and HR Certification Institute’s Global Professional in HR (GPHR) and Professional in HR (PHR).
