Childcare Tax Credit: Available March 1

Starting this Saturday, March 1, employers in Alabama can reserve Childcare Tax Credits. If you're interested in this, please mark it on your calendar to visit revenue.alabama.gov. Be sure to check out these resources, because they include step-by-step instructions on how to reserve your credits. Plan to act on March 1 to reserve your credit -- these are first-come, first-served!

We will host an informative virtual session on March 18 to explore what the Childcare Tax Credit is, who qualifies, and how it can provide financial relief for both families and businesses. Preeti Gratz, Economic Development Manager at the Alabama Department of Revenue, will guide us through how employers can leverage tax incentives to support working families. We will share the information on the March 18 session very soon.
