Radiance Technologies is pleased to announce the promotion of Ben Waye to Senior Vice President of the Weapon Analysis and Innovation Group (WAIG) in Radiance’s Defense Sector. In his new role, Waye will lead operations and growth initiatives in key areas for the Sector to include weapon system technical and programmatic support across the life cycle; software independent verification and validation; and intelligence support to the Operational Test and Evaluation community.
Waye joined Radiance in 2019 as the Strategic Capabilities Operation Manager, where he led the Radiance team supporting the Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) and served as the Radiance project lead for the development of the Air and Missile System Integration Lab for the Army’s Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC). He most recently served as the Vice President of the Missile and Space Group beginning in July 2021 and led Radiance’s RCCTO team supporting and executing the RCCTO SETA contract, the team supporting Radiance’s Huntsville and Colorado Springs space efforts, and the team performing software independent verification and validation for the Army and MDA.
Prior to coming to Radiance, Ben worked at the Defense Intelligence Agency/Missile and Space Intelligence Center for 20 years, where he served as a Senior Intelligence Analyst. He received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering in 1998 from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH).
