The Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville is pleased to announce the addition of Matt Jones as its new Vice President of Development. Jones’ appointment follows a banner year as the organization received over $13.5 million in charitable donations and deployed over $8 million on behalf of their donors and programs.
Jones joins the team to deepen corporate and foundation relationships and to enhance investment in the Community Foundation’s key projects and programs. Most recently, Jones served as CEO of RocketHatch, a Huntsville based organization focused on helping businesses and business leaders measure and increase their positive impact on the community. In addition, he has worked as an executive coach and consultant for both for-profit and not-for-profit leaders. He also volunteers as a business mentor with the UAH Small Business Development Center and the Madison CEO program.
“I am more than excited about the opportunity to be a part of this amazing team and to offer them my experience with Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Giving. Great things are happening in Huntsville, and I believe the Community Foundation will be one of the most strategic and vital voices in shaping our future,” said Jones.
