The Small Business & Events Division of the Chamber offers several workshops, classes, and educational events through collaborations with numerous area entities including the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library, the University of Alabama Huntsville, Alabama A&M University, and several area businesses.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERIES
The Chamber’s Professional Development Series is a multidimensional support initiative designed to provide assistance to small businesses and middle market companies. When used as a suite of services, these courses provide solid business planning and development to strengthen local businesses.
Small Business Workshops are offered monthly. General topics include:
• Cybersecurity/Risk Management
• HR Best Practices
• Customer Relations Development
Digital Media Management Workshops are offered once a month. General topics include social media hacks, digital marketing, and online content management.
Computer Training is offered monthly and includes computer classes focused on using platforms such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. to increase workflow productivity. Presenter: the Downtown Public Library.

Whether it be traditional or non-traditional capital, this event will provide attendees with insight on all the resources available to help start or grow their business.
This event will be in partnership with UAH’s Small Business Development Center/Procurement Technical Center.
The State of Healthcare within the North Alabama community is a very important topic. This event aims to collaborate with medical practices, elected officials, and other influential members of the community to discuss current issues that are affecting our area.
Learn how technology is impacting the future of medicine, as well as innovative medical breakthroughs that are changing the world. This event will focus on medical best practices, wellness trends, and policy changes. This event will also feature a well-known keynote speaker.
