The Orthopaedic Center (TOC) announced the addition of Dr. Corey Burke to its team in September. Dr. Burke is one of three new doctors to join TOC, along with Dr. Thompson McMurtrie and Dr. Zachary Moore. TOC now boasts 38 orthopaedic physicians across North Alabama.
“As our community and region grow, TOC understands the need for greater access to highly trained and skillful medical providers,” says TOC’s CEO, Mark Didier. “For this reason, TOC is excited to announce we are expanding our provider base with three more fellowship-trained surgeons to meet the orthopaedic medical needs of our communities. Throughout the North Alabama region, TOC is committed to your care.”
Dr. Burke is a pediatric orthopaedic physician who graduated from medical school and completed his residency at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, CA, before completing his fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. As a parent of five vibrant children of his own, Dr. Burke has the ability to relate and empathize with families as they navigate care for their children. He uses his strengths of compassion, integrity, and communication to build trust and give parents confidence in their child’s care as he shares prognoses and treatment plans. He finds great reward in helping kids return to their full function. Dr. Burke will join the pediatric orthopaedics team at TOC’s Huntsville, Scottsboro, and Madison locations.
