MartinFederal welcomes Lexi Cheatham as the company’s new Senior Contracts Manager located in the corporate office. Lexi is a skilled contracts manager with extensive experience in proposal development and government contract administration. Lexi believes in having an engaged and well-educated workforce by providing the opportunity for professional education and leadership training.  She also believes in the power of networking with colleagues to build lasting professional relationships.

Prior to joining MartinFederal, Lexi served as Principal Contract Administrator at Dynetics, Inc. and Subcontract Administrator at Camber Corporation – a Huntington Ingalls company. Lexi has been an active member of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) since 2015. She served as the Vice-President of Membership for the NCMA Huntsville Chapter from 2017-2019, President-Elect from 2019-2020, and Chapter President from 2020-2021. In addition, she is a graduate of the NCMA Contract Management Leadership Development Program.  Lexi is also a graduate of Huntsville Leadership Connect Class 23.

Lexi holds a Master’s degree from Troy University in Public Administration, as well as a Bachelor’s degree from Auburn University in Political Science.  While pursuing her Master’s degree, Lexi obtained a Graduate Certificate in Government Contract Administration, and she is a Certified Federal Contract Manager.
