Raytheon Technologies is pleased to announce Michael Cox as Huntsville site lead for Raytheon Technologies, overseeing site operations and community involvement for Raytheon Technologies and its facilities on Jan Davis Drive and Bob Heath Drive. In addition to this role, he serves as customer accounts lead for strategic and missile defense. He is responsible for strategic engagement, capture development and growth of products for Raytheon Missiles & Defense.
Prior to joining Raytheon in 2017, Michael was vice president of Engineering Solutions Sector of Parsons Government Services (PGS) and served in leadership roles at Northrop Grumman and TASC. In 2007, he retired as a Colonel (O-6) from the U.S. Air Force, where he worked for 27 years and served in various leadership roles, including chief of the Missile Defense and Missile Warning Radars Division at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts and chief of staff of the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense Program Office (MDA) in Huntsville.
He holds a master’s degree in procurement and acquisition management from Webster University and a bachelor’s degree in humanities with an engineering minor from the U.S. Air Force Academy.
