On Dec. 15, The Alabama Space Science Exhibit Commission is pleased to announce the selection of Dr. Kimberly Robinson as Executive Director and CEO of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. A 31-year veteran of NASA, Dr. Robinson will assume her role Feb. 15, 2021. Read more.
Blue Origin’s Board of Advisors
On Dec. 1, Blue Origin announced the formation of its Board of Advisors, which includes notable former government space leaders and industry executives. Among those named to the board, Todd May of Huntsville. He is Senior Vice President of Space and Mission Solutions at KBR. He is also former Director of NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center. Wes Torain is the new Director of Public Relations and Digital Media at Calhoun Community College. He brings more than thirty years of experience in broadcasting, journalism, public relations, and multimedia production, and will oversee the College’s marketing efforts. The college made the announcement in November. Read more.
In October, Maynard Cooper & Gale welcomed Wade Heck to the Firm’s Government Relations Practice Group in Washington D.C. Wade is a Government Relations professional with over three decades of experience shaping and executing federal lobbying strategies and guiding policy through the legislative process. Redstone Gateway Conference & Dining Center
Rhonda Stiles has joined the WJP Restaurant Group as the new Sales and Catering Director of the Redstone Gateway Conference and Dining Center. Rhonda’s passion for customer service and hospitality have guided through her 25 year career in the industry. She will work with customers on a variety of needs, including space for a social event, a work meeting, or a catered meal. Read more.

She graduated from the University of Alabama Huntsville with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a concentration in Government Contracts in 2012. J. Brad Fuller has joined MartinFederal as the Director of Cyber Solutions, leading the Cyber Solutions Practice team in Starkville, MS. NAI Chase Commercial, a member of the world’s premier managed network of commercial real estate firms, NAI Global, announced Dec. 4 that Jay Hornbuckle has accepted a position as Vice President, Property Management in the Birmingham, Ala. office.
