Brigadier General Garrick Harmon assumed command of the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC) on May 17. Prior to this assignment, Harmon served as the Senior Defense Official and Defense Attaché, U.S. Defense Attaché Office, Embassy of the U.S.A., Moscow, Russian Federation. He is excited to be at Redstone Arsenal after assignments that have seen him and his family living outside the U.S. for more than 10 years.

Crestwood Medical Center recently announced that Dr. Warren Strickland was recently appointed to its Board of Trustees for a three-year term. Dr. Strickland is an interventional cardiologist and was appointed along with Bobby White, General Manager of Woody Anderson Ford.

Mally joined Canvas in 2014; was promoted as Task Lead for Canvas’ MDA Warfighter Integration team in 2015; transitioned to the Task Lead for MDA Test, Exercises, and Warfighter team in 2017; and was named Director of Operations in 2020. In her role as Vice President, Mally will manage Corporate Operations and the Cross-Functional Directorate Team to ensure effective management processes and procedures and contract execution at Canvas.

With almost 30 years of senior leadership experience, Canvas is proud to announce Larry Couvillon has been named President. Since joining Canvas as Vice President in 2012, Larry has overseen marketing, business development, capture management, and proposal activities. He has also provided direct customer support as Program Manager (PM), Alternate PM, Task Lead, and Senior Advisor. In 2018, Larry transitioned to overseeing contract operations and execution as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Canvas.
