Josh Guffey recently joined Deloitte’s Government and Public Service practice as a Specialist Master in Application Modernization and Innovation supporting U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Aviation & Missile Center (DEVCOM AvMC) based at Redstone Arsenal. Josh brings over 17 years of experience supporting various commands and local defense contractors in and around Huntsville. In his previous roles, he served in multiple capacities ranging from data warehousing, data analytics developer, business intelligence architect, solution architect and Director of Technology. Josh is an Infantry Combat Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Urisa Rêvé Smith recently joined Deloitte’s Government and Public Services practice as an Advisory Senior Consultant with more than 15 years of experience in higher education and government sectors. Previously she served as the U.S. Desk Officer for the Global Counterterrorism Forum at the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Counterterrorism. There she managed the U.S.’ programmatic efforts as co-lead of the forum’s Foreign Terrorist Fighter working group focused on initiatives in terrorist watchlisting, interdicting terrorist travel in the maritime sector, and foreign terrorist fighter repatriation.

Brenda Conville been promoted to Vice President of Real Estate at Freedom Real Estate & Capital, LLC. The company announced the promotion on January 10. She previously served as Director of Real Estate at Freedom, and prior to joining the company, Conville spent over 30 years leading the brokerage and property management functions at two prominent commercial real estate companies in Huntsville, and also led the facilities management for an international defense contractor. Conville holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Athens State University and has earned the Certified Property Manager® designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management.
Lee Holland has been promoted to Vice President of Development and Construction at Freedom Real Estate & Capital, LLC (Freedom). This was announced on January 10. He has served as Director of Capital Projects at Freedom since July of 2019. Prior to his role with Freedom, Holland served as Huntsville Executive for an international construction company. He has more than 23 years of senior level management and leadership experience in construction and has expertise working with clients representing diverse markets ranging from privately held companies to global corporations.
MidCity District is proud to announce MidCity District Association’s first Executive Director, Lindsey Pattillo-Keane. This new role was a natural step for Pattillo-Keane, transitioning from the Director of Marketing and Property Activation for RCP Companies and MidCity District. Pattillo-Keane has been with RCP since June of 2017. The new role will entail overseeing all MidCity operations, marketing, and property activation while working closely with all MidCity tenants to facilitate collaboration, communication, and growth throughout the 140-acre District.

Mackenzie Mayhall has joined RCP Companies’ accounting team as Accounts Payables Clerk. Mayhall comes to RCP with nine years of experience working in the multi-family and commercial property management industry. She is passionate about procedure and compliance and will use her industry knowledge and experience as a value-add to RCP’s developments and properties.
Amanda Welch joins RCP Companies as Digital and Social Media Coordinator for MidCity District and The Camp. Welch is responsible for creating engaging content, and helping the surrounding areas learn more about events, businesses, construction, and future endeavors of MidCity District and The Camp. Welch can often be found around MidCity interacting with the tenants and patrons while creating content to spread the word of the happenings in the district. She also works as a contributing writer for We Are Huntsville and holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Gibson is a results-oriented leader with proven transformational success across NSWC PCD, ONR, Navy and DoD. He is an engineering professional with core competencies transcending multiple engineering disciplines across diverse assignments. Gibson served in the U.S. Navy for nine years and in the Nuclear Navy another 18 years as a DON civilian. He has a Master’s in Business Administration, Project Management from Grantham University, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology with Emphasis in Nuclear Technology, and Minor in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University. Gibson is a member of the DoD Acquisition Corp since 2010 and is Level III Certified in Test and Evaluation, Engineering and Level II in Program Management.

Ms. Day graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a major in Management of Information Systems. She has 10 years of professional experience that include administrative, accounting, and information technology work in the government contracting community. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, spending time with her family, and volunteering with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
R2C is pleased to announce that Paul Bannister, the company’s Vice President for Florida Operations, assumed the oversight of R2C’s Machine Shop at the R2C Aerospace facility. As a former Department of the Navy civilian with a comprehensive background in quality controls, machining, and fabrication, and the management of machining and fabrication facilities, Bannister is amply suited to assume the machine shop operations at R2C Aerospace. His experiences span all facets of the Department of Defense include Aerospace, Nuclear, Submarine, Surface Ship, Special Warfare, Diving, Life Support, and Ordinance.
Mr. Lee Tracey joined R2C Inc. as 10kW APU Engineer for the Army Future Command CCDC-DEVCOM. Mr. Tracey graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Delaware in 2020. During his time at the university, his studies focused on analog, digital circuits, electromagnetics, communications engineering, power electrical systems, PCB and CAD design. Since graduating, he was responsible for Solar Engineer responsibilities for a Solar O&M company and Field Engineering for a commercial electrical contractor. Mr. Tracey is working to achieve his professional engineer license in the future and continues to develop his knowledge of electrical systems. As a hobby he enjoys designing and building guitar effects pedals. R2C is thrilled to welcome aboard Mr. Tracey and looks forward to working together to achieve high quality customer service!
Tammy Bottomley recently joined R2C Inc. as a buyer. Bottomly is originally from the Dakotas. She lived in the South for the last 30+ years and now calls Alabama home. Bottomley has breadth and depth of experience that makes her an asset to R2C. She worked at US Diagnostics for several years as a senior customer service Manager. Her plan is to continue being a part of the R2C Inc. Family-Team for years to come. As hobbies, Bottomley enjoys redoing furniture and spending time outside.
R2C is proud to announce Eric Soliz as the company’s newest member, as Program Manager, Aerospace Division in Huntsville, AL. Eric was raised in Enterprise, AL, thus, having been around Aviation for most of his life. He joins R2C after working with a local company as a program manager for the past 14 years. Eric is a retired US Army veteran serving 21 years in the infantry, Ranger Training Brigade and flying as a UH60 Instructor Pilot. He served in Texas, North Carolina, Germany, Korea, and Alabama. Some points of interest are having served under the UN in Macedonia and Kosovo. He also served in Iraq during the last war.
