On August 9, Pammie Jimmar was named the new President of the Greater Limestone County Chamber of Commerce.
Jimmar previously served as the Vice President of Small Business and Events at the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber. Jimmar is a highly driven successful leader with over 26 years in a professional leadership role and a proven record of revenue growth, implementing, and sustaining productive programs, while always utilizing efficient business practices. The other component of her role was also creating events that connect members both small and large businesses to engage in relationships that helped them build their customer and client pipeline.
Prior moving to the Rocket City, she worked as a Sales Manager for the Macon-Bibb County Convention and Visitors Bureau for 16 years marketing Macon as a Convention and Meeting destination.
Jimmar graduated from the U.S. Chamber Institute of Organization Management, earning the designation of IOM, and she serves on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation Board of Regents, Advisory Board of Alabama Small Business Development Council, and Main Street Alabama Board. She is a graduate of Focus 32, Leadership Huntsville Flagship Program (L-29), Immediate-Past President of the Rocket City Alabama Society of Government Meeting Professionals, Member of the Women’s Economic Development Council, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Executives Diversity Roundtable, and member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.
Jimmar says she is excited about being able to build upon the foundation by contributing toward the success of the Greater Limestone Chamber through a focused vision and strong leadership that promotes increased revenue growth, meaningful member engagement and successful partnerships throughout the community.
Pammie is 2022 MBA candidate at Alabama A&M University.
Her hobbies are traveling, ballet, shopping, and reading magazines, watching Westerns, going to Broadway Shows, playing golf, and spending quality time with her two heartbeats and her mom.

Pammie is the proud mother of two adult sons, Kevin (30) and Dallas (21).
