Tracy Wallace has been promoted to Director of Horticulture at the Huntsville Botanical Garden. In this role, Tracy will provide leadership for plant propagation operations and the management of ornamental gardens and natural areas at the Garden.

Tracy’s extensive experience in landscape and nursery management began at her family-owned and operated 50-acre plant nursery, which ignited her passion and led to obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Horticulture with honors from the University of Arkansas. She further expanded her expertise while delighting guests at world-class resorts at Universal Studios Orlando and Callaway Gardens in Georgia. Tracy believes the scientific and artistic elements of horticulture are a fundamental part of the garden experience and are essential in order to connect people to plants.
