Drake State Community & Technical College would like to congratulate its President, Dr. Patricia Sims, on being a WEDC Foundation 2025 Women Honoring Women Honoree. The WEDC Foundation recognizes prominent women in our community who have created a legacy and are serving as an inspiration to others. Congratulations on this well-earned honor!
Additionally, Dr. Sims has been appointed by the Huntsville City Council to serve on the Health Care Authority Board of the City of Huntsville, which governs the Huntsville Hospital Health System. As a Health Care Authority Board member, Dr. Sims will work closely with her fellow board members and the Huntsville Hospital senior team to help guide HH Health into the future. Dr. Sims’ appointment reflects her deep and ongoing commitment to community service and civic engagement. As a respected leader in education and workforce development, she brings decades of experience in strategic planning, public service, and community collaboration to this vital role.
