
Auburn University Applied Research Institute in Huntsville is pleased to announce that Adam Peterson has joined the team as a Research Engineer.
Peterson has previously worked in the research and development of novel accelerators for medical applications. In this work, his focus was on electromagnetic steering and dosimetry.
Peterson earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee – Chattanooga. During his undergraduate, he worked as a research engineer studying radiation effects in microelectronics.
He is excited to utilize his previous knowledge and skills to advance the research at Auburn and the AUARI.
The Auburn University Applied Research Institute operates within the Auburn University Research and Innovation Campus in Huntsville’s Cummings Research Park near the Redstone Arsenal, a 38,000-acre federal research, development, test and engineering center.
