WalletHub compared more than 180 cities across 41 key indicators of safety. The data set ranges from traffic fatalities and assaults per capita to the unemployment rate and the percentage of the population that is uninsured.

Huntsville ranked 70th for luxury living out of the 115 cities included. It’s noteworthy that the Rocket City is the only city across five southern states — Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Georgia and Alabama — to make the list.
