Bob Nance recently celebrated his one-year anniversary of joining the WLRH 89.3 FM/HD public radio team. He hosts Saturday and Sunday morning programming and is one of the newscasters for WLRH’s Tennessee Valley News Update on Friday afternoons. He winds his community service and professional experience into his duties as a host and producer.
The rest of the week, he’s running his company, Novation Systems, which provides IT support and cyber security for many area businesses. He’s a regular volunteer with NASA’s Space Apps Challenge, HudsonAlpha’s Hatch ‘Tech Challenge’ and Huntsville Symphony Orchestra’s Painted Violin Society auction. He also hosted a music stage during last Spring’s Panoply Arts Festival.
WLRH GM Brett Tannehill says, “Bob has been a great addition to the 89.3 team, and his IT skills have been a big bonus. Bob is a long-time resident and knows what’s happening around Huntsville. We’re glad he can share his local knowledge with WLRH listeners.”
