Chance Hill has started a new role as Director of Business Development and Government Relations at the Huntsville office of Boecore — an aerospace and defense company whose clients include the United States Space Force, the Missile Defense Agency, the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, the Air Force, the Navy, and the Department of Homeland Security, among others.
Chance worked as an attorney and government relations professional before joining Boecore. Before his legal career, Chance served for three years as an officer and analyst with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), including an undercover assignment in the Middle East. While working at the agency, Chance also wrote analytical products for the President of the United States and the National Security Council and briefed senior State Department officials.
He also served for six years in the U.S. Navy, including a one-year deployment to north-central Iraq. Prior to this deployment, Chance served as the intelligence officer with an F-18 strike-fighter squadron and deployed twice—once aboard an aircraft carrier throughout Asia and the Middle East and then to Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan. In addition, the Navy ordered Chance to Seoul, Korea as the Theater Ballistic Missile Section Chief, charged with assessing North Korea’s missile capabilities.
Chance is very excited to incorporate his passion for the space sector and his national security experience into his daily work, and he looks forward to serving Boecore’s current and future clients while contributing to the team.
