Radiance Technologies is pleased to announce the promotion of Daniel Anderson to Vice President of the Aviation, Sensors, and Geospatial (ASG) Group in Radiance’s Defense Sector. In his new role, Anderson will lead operations and growth initiatives in key areas for the Sector to include Army fixed and rotary-wing aviation support, Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), and Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) activities.
Anderson joined Radiance in 2009 as a Project Manager performing Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) and GEOINT analysis and developing exploitation tools. In 2014, he became Director of Operations for the Stennis, Mississippi Division’s entire Navy project portfolio, where he focused on information technology, software development, workflow management, and machine learning algorithm development. He was awarded Radiance Technologies’ Team Player of the Year Award in 2016 and Manager of the Year in 2018 for excellent performance. Anderson has most recently served as AVP for the Coastal/Geospatial Operation based out of Stennis, MS.
Prior to coming to Radiance, Anderson worked in industry supporting the National Geospatial Agency (NGA) and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). He received his BS degree in Geography in 2000 from the University of Southern Mississippi, a PMP in 2018, and is pursuing his MBA through the Radiance partnership with Auburn University, preparing to graduate in May 2023.
