Darby Smith was recently appointed as Annual Giving Officer at The University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Darby moved to Huntsville from Canada in 2019 to join the UAH Chargers as the Women’s Lacrosse team captain. While a student, Darby assisted the Athletic Department with their marketing and philanthropy outreach. Darby received her bachelor’s degree in Marketing in 2021 and her master’s in Communications in 2023.

Darby’s hobbies include fitness, baking, and cheering on the Chargers. She is delighted to continue sharing her passion for UAH in her new role.
