The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber would like to recognize Diana Baccus, our Director of Event Management, for earning her Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) designation from the Events Industry Council in October.

The CMP credential is recognized globally as the badge of excellence in the events industry. The qualifications for certification are based on professional experience, education and a rigorous exam.

Diana has been employed at the Chamber for 2.5 years. In her role, she oversees all Chamber events, from planning to execution, to ensure all aspects run smoothly.

“I love planning and organizing events and get to do that for work every day,” said Diana.

She is a very fun co-worker, too. Diana loves to travel and share stories about the places she visits. She has visited over 30 countries and her last trip was to Belize. She plans to visit Iceland in December!
