Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, appointed Dr. Charles Moore as Associate Director for the company’s Powder Metal Value Stream. Dr. Moore has served across RTX for nine years and has held roles leading international programs, business critical projects, the company’s Huntsville presence, and engineering teams.
In his new role, Dr. Moore will help to oversee the creation and execution of the powder metal domain across Columbus, GA and Clayville, NY. Dr. Moore also serves as the Global Chair for RTXVETS, RTX’s Armed Services employee resource group.
Dr. Moore joined RTX after retiring from the Army in 2015.
Charles is married to Amber Moore and has six children from two to 18 years old. He currently serves on the Huntsville Committee of 100 as a Young Professional and multiple philanthropic committees and chairs through the Huntsville community.
Dr. Moore holds a Doctorate of Engineering from George Washington University, a Master’s in Engineering Management from The Pennsylvania State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Management from American Military University.
