Dr. Heath Berry was recently promoted to Senior Vice President of the Electronic Systems and Cyber Technologies Group in Radiance Technologies’ National Security Sector. He presently leads and manages the business units and research related to multiple key areas including cyber- security, microelectronics security, automated system exploitation and failure analysis, and High-Powered Microwave Directed Energy systems. Dr. Berry will be responsible for all execution, personnel, and business development in this important and growing area for Radiance.
Dr. Berry joined Radiance in 2007 as a Design Engineer performing ASIC design and MEMS development for the Intelligence Systems Group. In 2010, he became the Director of Research and Development for the Intelligence Systems group at the Radiance Louisiana Tech office. Dr. Berry became a Tech Fellow in 2015 and AVP of the Cyber Solutions Group before starting the LSU research office in Baton Rouge in 2016. In 2019, Dr. Berry became a Senior Technical Fellow and transitioned to the Huntsville location. In 2020, Dr. Berry became Vice President and Group Manager of the Electronic Systems and Cyber Technologies Group and a Senior Tech Fellow.
Prior to coming to Radiance, Heath worked as a researcher at the Institute for Micromanufacturing at Louisiana Tech. He graduated from Louisiana Tech University with his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2005, his M.S. in Electrical Engineering in 2008, his M.S. in Applied Physics in 2010, and his Ph.D. in Engineering in 2010.
