MAD Security is thrilled to announce Felix Aburto as its new SOC Tier 1 Analyst. Felix joins the team with a robust background in information technology and cybersecurity, bringing his extensive experience and certifications to the company’s Security Operations Center (SOC).

Felix is a dedicated and skilled cybersecurity professional with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Western Governors University. He holds numerous industry certifications, including CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst+, Cisco Certified Network Associate, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner. His diverse skill set encompasses a wide range of technologies and platforms, making him a valuable asset to the team.

Felix’s prior roles include IT Operations Specialist at GigaParts, where he effectively monitored over 200 endpoints and achieved an 85% reduction in security incidents. His technical support experience at Northrop Grumman and Calhoun Community College further showcases his ability to efficiently manage and resolve complex IT issues. As a SOC Tier 1 Analyst at MAD Security, Felix will be responsible for the day-to-day security threat monitoring and analysis of MAD Security’s client environments. Reporting to the Security Operations Center Desk Manager, he will use the latest technology to detect, analyze, and limit intrusions and security events.
