Geeta Berry is HAPPI Health’s newly appointed Chief Financial Officer. Geeta is a visionary and seasoned healthcare executive with over two decades of experience in healthcare finance and strategic leadership. Geeta will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organization. In this role, Geeta will support all financial operations, including budgeting, revenue cycle management, grant compliance, and financial reporting.
She will work closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to align fiscal strategies with the organization’s mission, ensuring that resources are used effectively to support patient care and community outreach.
Before joining HAPPI, Geeta held finance leadership roles at Franklin Primary Health Center (FPHC) where she led initiatives that improved financial sustainability, EHR optimization, and streamlined overall revenue cycle processes and increased collections by over 14% within the last year. Geeta brings deep knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare reimbursement, HRSA compliance, and the unique financial needs of safety net providers. Her collaborative leadership style and sharp execution have earned a reputation as a catalyst for change and a trusted partner in driving progress across the healthcare ecosystem.
Geeta holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Accounting concentration graduating Magma Cum Laude. She also obtained a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and a Masters in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Oklahoma City University’s Meinders School of Business. She is a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) through the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), recognizing her expertise in medical practice management.
Geeta’s hobbies include watching basketball, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family. She has been married for 30 years to her husband Michael, a former collegiate basketball coach and current high school coach and teacher. They both share a daughter, Rekha, who resides in Nashville.
