Jessica Henderson recently joined Huntsville College Preparatory School as a nurse.
Having graduated from Wallace State Community College with her LPN, Nurse Jessica has been a nurse for five years. Her background includes working with intellectual disabilities and behaviors, autoimmune diseases, and being a chronic care nurse.
Since joining HCPS, Nurse Jessica has been streamlining students’ medical care by creating systems for visiting the nurse, medicine distribution, and diabetes monitoring. Currently she is working on developing curriculum for a health class that she will be presenting to HCPS high school students in the upcoming school year.
Huntsville College Preparatory School is a K-12 non-profit private school that serves children with learning differences in Huntsville, AL. Our student body is comprised of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, and students who simply need an individualized learning experience. HCPS is the difference between going to school and experiencing education. We always teach to the student, never to the class.
