Jim Matthews serves as Vice President, Threat Technical Analysis in the Systems Engineering and Analysis Directorate of Parsons’ Defense and Intelligence Business Unit. He joined Parsons in 1997 as a Systems Analyst. Jim has over 26 years of experience serving Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) customers.
As a career Parsons employee, he has served in numerous technical and management positions from small business mentor-protégé lead to program manager of mission critical support efforts for national security customers. Since his promotion to Vice President in 2022, Jim is P&L lead of Threat Technical Analysis, responsible for direction, execution, and growth in the areas of scientific and technical intelligence; systems analysis; modeling; simulation; simulation architecture development; model and architecture integration; and systems testing.
