WLRH is proud to announce that Jordan Clavon was selected to participate in Leadership Greater Huntsville’s SPARK program in August. This program features the brightest minds from colleges and universities around the region.
Jordan is one of the voices known for hosting WLRH 89.3 FM/HD’s weekend programming, as well as the Tennessee Valley Music Update which covers live music events every Friday and Saturday afternoon.
Jordan graduated UAH last Spring as a top communications student. Recently, he was chosen to present a research topic for the Alabama Communication Association.
WLRH’s GM Brett Tannehill says, “After starting as a volunteer, Jordan built the skills needed to host most of the WLRH HD1 schedule, including the fast-paced Morning Edition and All Things Considered programs. He’s also continuing to do well in the academic world, so we’re very excited for Jordan.”
