Katiya McKinney recently joined Maynard Nexsen as the Business Development Manager for the north Alabama area. McKinney brings over 20 years of strategic communications, marketing, and public relations in the banking, credit union, and retail sectors. Most recently, serving as the vice president, sales and marketing director of Progress Bank.

She is a graduate of Mississippi University for Women and earned her MBA at the University of North Alabama. McKinney is active in her community with the Crush Food and Wine Festival, Community Free Dental Clinic, The American Heart Association, and AshaKiran. She also serves as a member of the Public Relations Council of Alabama (North AL), the American Advertising Federation of North Alabama, and as treasurer of the Alabama Advertising Education Foundation.
