
Kirby Tifverman, People Operations and Internal Communications Manager at Yorktown Systems Group, was recently accepted into Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where she will begin her studies in Fall 2025.
Tifverman has served on Yorktown’s Human Resources team since 2019, earning successive promotions and becoming a cornerstone of the company’s employee relations and internal communications functions. She was instrumental in the formation of Yorktown’s nonprofit arm, Foundation 1781, which supports underresourced communities throughout north Alabama. As a founding member of the Foundation’s executive team, she helped shape the organization’s mission and day-to-day operations.
A multi-time recipient of Employee of the Month, Quarter, and Year honors, Tifverman is widely respected for her integrity, empathy, and analytical skills. She is known across the organization as a polished communicator and compassionate leader, capable of navigating complex issues with grace and professionalism.
