Still Serving Veterans (SSV),, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has spent nearly two decades improving the lives of Veterans through career counseling, VA benefits assistance, and resource connection, proudly announces the addition of Kristen Strickland to its Board of Directors.
“I am excited to welcome Kristen to the SSV Board,” said Rich McAdams, SSV Board Chair. “Kristen’s history of success in development and event leadership has already elevated our mission.”
Kristen returns to the Board of Directors with a performance-driven background spanning over 22 years in public relations, marketing, business development, and leadership. Based in Huntsville and Madison, Kristen specializes in building strategic partnerships in growth markets and holds deep expertise in SBA lending, business banking, and team management.
Kristen previously served on the SSV Board, chairing the Development Committee. Upon rotating off the board in 2024, she took on the role of Golf FORE Vets Tournament Chair—leading the event to its most successful fundraising year to date. Her efforts brought in vital sponsorships from Bank Independent and her extensive client network. In addition to her work with SSV, Kristen has raised funds for a wide array of nonprofit organizations including Kids to Love, the AUM Foundation, March of Dimes, and HEALS. She holds a B.B.A. in Marketing and Management from the University of West Alabama.
