Nola | Van Peursem Architects is excited to announce Laura Trenkle has been named Principal Architect. She is widely recognized for her expertise in managing higher education, municipal, and other public works projects. Her reputation precedes her for building professional relationships while maintaining a collaborative and enjoyable work environment.
Laura is a Huntsville native and a graduate of Huntsville High School. She, with her husband, Peter, and their three children, are active in their church and community. Laura is not only a triathlete, but also mentors others to further the sport. She is a Byrd Spring Aquatic Association board member, Cub Scout leader, and Halloween enthusiast.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Mississippi State University. She joined the firm in 2002 as a college intern, and after graduation, she returned to NVP Architects and obtained her architecture license. Her leadership and relatable demeanor make her a natural fit for Principal Architect. She currently has several educational and municipal projects in design and under construction. Laura is excited to continue the 76-year legacy of design excellence at NVP Architects.
