WLRH is pleased to announce the recent hire of Marsha Arends in the position of Radio Program Producer.
Marsha discovered her passion for radio long before she even learned to drive! She was lucky to attend Carmel High School, just outside of Indianapolis, where she got her start at the school’s educational radio station. After producing her first show, she knew this was her calling. Marsha went on to graduate from Columbia College in Chicago and then made her way to Huntsville, AL, where she spent many years working at WAHR, WRTT, and WLOR-AM. A lover of all types of music, Marsha is excited to be part of public radio and to now host Valley Sounds at WLRH.
Assistant General Manager Ginny Kennedy says, “Marsha is a wonderful addition to the WLRH team and we already appreciate her contributions to the station’s mission.”
