With extensive federal experience, Pillsbury is skilled in defense contract strategies, military and government relations, governmental compliance, fraud investigations, white collar prosecutions, and international law. He is a former Assistant U.S. Attorney and Chief Attorney with the U.S. Army with a deep background in multiple aspects of Defense Contracting and International Law.

Michael serves as an adjunct professor at Athens State University, where he teaches Government Contracting Law to undergraduate and graduate-level students. He is also a frequent presenter at regional legal seminars.
