BRPH, a nationally ranked architecture, engineering and construction firm with nine offices nationwide, recently named project executive Michael Sargent, PE, LEED AP, its central region market leader.
Sargent, a firm principal who has been with BRPH for 10 years and in the industry for 32, recently relocated from the company’s Melbourne headquarters to its Huntsville, Alabama, office to work more closely with existing clients in the central United States and with the firm’s business unit leaders to pursue new opportunities in the region.
“I couldn’t be more excited about the chance to build and grow our industry partnerships and help expand the BRPH brand,” Sargent said. “I look forward to hitting the road to bring BRPH’s services and many decades of expertise directly to the companies and industries in the middle U.S. that we have not previously had the bandwidth to reach.”
Over the course of his career, Sargent has garnered experience in construction design and contract administration for aerospace/defense, manufacturing/industrial, commercial, entertainment and education facilities across the United States and abroad.
This position is one of many newly created roles for the rapidly growing company, which has added more than 100 team members to its roster of 300 over the past year. “This move is a natural career progression for Mike, and we could not be more thrilled that he has accepted this expanded role,” said Raul E Aviles Jr, president of architecture and engineering for BRPH. “Having worked in each one of BRPH’s markets over the years, Mike has both the breadth and depth of technical expertise, as well as a servant leadership mentality coupled with client service skills to represent the BRPH brand in the Midwest and south-central United States.”
Sargent is a licensed professional engineer in 21 states and is a LEED accredited professional. He earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
