Sarah Holmes joins Aviation & Missile Solutions as the Director of Purchasing. Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in communication with a minor in management & leadership from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and an executive MBA from the University of North Alabama. Sarah has a nine-year career in government procurement with five of those being in a managerial capacity. She has led teams in procurement execution, negotiation tactics, material cost estimating as well as conducted training and development on the subject matter to make procurement practices positively presented. Sarah thrives in scenarios that require creative and compliant problem-solving and has enjoyed teaching procurement and program professionals how to master those skills as well.

Prior to her career in procurement, Sarah worked in medical and non-profit administration in Huntsville. She has retained this connection through her volunteer service as a co-chair on the HEALS Young Professional Advisory Council for the past year and a half to promote awareness about the accessible medical services available to kids in our community. Sarah is a Huntsville native currently residing in Madison with her husband and their very spoiled pup.
