Maynard Nexsen recently welcomed Scott Faulkner, Shareholder, to the Huntsville office. Scott focuses his legal practice on tax, corporate law, and employee benefits law, with a particular emphasis on matters pertaining to the Employee Retirement and Income Security Act (ERISA). He provides guidance on tax matters, government contracting, mergers, and acquisitions, as well as securities law to both emerging and established businesses. Scott also counsels individuals on retirement planning, estate planning, and marital planning. In addition to being an attorney, he is also a CPA.
Scott received his JD from The University of Alabama School of Law, his M.Acc. from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, his LLM from New York University, and his undergraduate degree from Stanford University. Scott also clerked for the Honorable Edward Carnes at the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Atlanta, GA.
