2026 Armed Forces Celebration

Join us for several events in June to honor our Armed Forces in the community, as well as the civilians on Team Redstone who support our warfighters! Some attractions and retailers will also offer discounts. We’ve listed these below the events.

Friday, June 5

2026 AUSA Iron Mike Golf Tournament

Registration: 7 a.m.; Shotgun Start: 8:30 a.m.

251st Army Birthday Celebration at Redstone Gateway

Open to the public, 4 – 9 p.m.
Redstone Gateway (located outside Gate 9)
Car show, fireworks to cap off the evening

Sunday, June 7

Gold Star Family Appreciation at the Rocket City Trash Pandas

Gold Star Families honored before the game and during private event
Military flyover to take place before first pitch

Monday, June 8

Proclamation Signing Ceremony

8 a.m. at Huntsville Madison County Veterans Memorial, downtown
Local elected officials, Team Redstone leaders

Concert in the Park

6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Big Spring Park
Musical performer to be announced soon
In case of rain, concert will be moved to VBC

Tuesday, June 9

Armed Forces Celebration Luncheon

12 p.m.
VBC Saturn Ballroom

Redstone Good Neighbors to be recognized

Wednesday, June 10

Team Redstone vs. Community Leaders Softball Game

Gates open to public at 5:30 p.m.; Game starts at 6 p.m.
Toyota Field
Free admission
FREE Hot Dogs to the first 500 attendees!
Company with the most people in attendance wins the Grand Slam Spirit Award, plus a free table or sponsorship upgrade to a future Chamber event
Huntsville/Madison County Chamber will also host Business After Hours at this event – more info to come soon
