2026 Armed Forces Celebration

Join us for several events in June to honor our Armed Forces in the community, as well as the civilians on Team Redstone who support our warfighters! Some attractions and retailers will also offer discounts. We’ve listed these below the events.

Monday, June 8

Concert in the Park

Tuesday, June 9

Armed Forces Celebration Luncheon
Tuesday, June 9, 12 p.m.
VBC Saturn Ballroom


  • Featured Speaker: LTG Gavin A. Lawrence, Deputy Commanding General and Redstone Senior Commander
  • Redstone Good Neighbors to be recognized
  • Registration closed.

Wednesday, June 10

Team Redstone vs. Community Leaders Softball Game
Wednesday, June 10, 6 p.m.
Toyota Field


  • Gates open to public at 5:30 p.m.; Game starts at 6 p.m.
  • FREE admission
  • FREE Hot Dogs to the first 500 attendees!
  • Company with the most people in attendance wins the Grand Slam Spirit Award, plus a free table or sponsorship upgrade to a future Chamber event

Business After Hours: Armed Forces Celebration Edition
Wednesday, June 10, 5:30-7 p.m.
Toyota Field


  • Registered attendees will have the opportunity to set up a table and showcase their business to a vibrant crowd of professionals, families, and community members. Bring a table, your signage, company swag, and a smile – this is a great way to build visibility and spark new connections in a fun, relaxed setting. Register here.
  • Registration is required ONLY for businesses planning to host a marketing table/booth. Attendance at the game and general networking are FREE and open to the public – no registration needed.

3rd Annual Armed Forces Prayer Breakfast

  • Event is free for veterans, active duty military, retirees, Guard/Reserve and members of our military community

2nd Annual Silent No More Gala
Friday, June 12, 5:30-10:30 p.m.
Holiday Inn Research Park


  • This gala will be held to elevate the visibility of women who have served in the military, recognizing and appreciating the service they have rendered since the days of the Revolutionary War.

Saturday, June 13

The Liberty & Legacy Army Birthday Ball

  • Join the Redstone-Huntsville AUSA Chapter & leaders from Redstone Arsenal for an unforgettable evening as Huntsville comes together to celebrate two historic milestones: the U.S. Army’s 251st Birthday & America’s 250th Birthday!

Armed Forces Night: Huntsville City FC vs Orlando City B

  • This special night celebrates service, sacrifice, and community through soccer as we honor the active duty service members, veterans, and military families who make our community stronger.

  • From June 5-13, free admission to veterans and active-duty military.

U.S. Space & Rocket Center

  • From June 5-13, free admission for active-duty military and veterans with at least one paid admission.

Huntsville Museum of Art

  • Active military admission: $10 **

Heart of the Valley YMCA:

  • From June 3-13, show your military ID at the Y Member Services Desk to enjoy the Y Free!

Rocket City Trash Pandas:

  • $2 off per ticket for any Military member purchasing tickets at the ticket window here at Toyota Field. **
  • 10% Military discount in both retail stores (The Junkyard at the ballpark and The Trash Pandas Store on Hughes Road). **

The Orion Amphitheater:

  • Military Discount: The Orion proudly offers a 10% military discount on our retail merchandise to active-duty service members, National Guard, Reserves, and veterans. **
  • VetTix Partnership: The Orion Amphitheater is a proud partner of VetTix, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides event tickets to all branches of currently-serving Military and Veterans, including immediate family of troops KIA. **
  • How does it work? Eligible service members, veterans and military families can sign up for VetTix through a simple verification process. VetTixers can then request tickets to events that interest them and pay a small delivery fee to receive their free tickets
