HUNTSVILLE, Ala. –The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber is hosting a number of events this summer to help local interns experience the Rocket City. Whether it’s work or play, there’s plenty to do here and we’re excited to help our early talent Get Onboard!
Our GO Rocket City! Get Onboard programming is in partnership with FuelAL and Innovate Alabama. Companies are invited to send interns to connect with one another while learning more about our community and the career opportunities available to them.
Events began earlier this summer and we still have additional ones planned, including a breakfast talk, community service day and coffee club meet-up.
“Whether these students are visiting home for the summer or they’re new here, we want them to consider returning to the Huntsville area after graduation,” said Lyndsay Ferguson, the Chamber’s Vice President of Workforce. “We are excited for our young talent to learn about all the great opportunities our community has to offer – and we encourage them to spread the word and invite a friend.”
