Congratulations to WellStone therapist Chasmine J. Parker for being recognized as CIT (Crisis Intervention Training) International’s 2025 Crisis Line Specialist of the Year.
As a crisis-trained counselor for North Alabama’s 988 Lifeline, Chasmine brings calm, compassion, and expertise to every call—supporting people in their most vulnerable moments with empathy and care. She’s also known for her meaningful follow-up and close collaboration with law enforcement, mobile crisis teams, and community partners to ensure every response is person-centered and trauma-informed.
Chasmine joined WellStone in May 2021 on the WellStone Emergency Services (WES) team, and transitioned to the 988 team two years later, fielding her first call on July 31, 2022.
