Aviation & Missile Solutions (AMS) is pleased to announce the promotion of Whitney Schmitt to Communications Manager. Schmitt joined AMS in May 2024 as a communications specialist.
She brings nearly 15 years’ experience in strategic communications, community relations, corporate special event planning, internal and external communications strategies and protocol.
She served three years as VP of Students for the North Alabama Chapter of the Public Relations Council of Alabama and is a graduate of Leadership Greater Huntsville’s Connect Class 19. She is also a member of the Southern Public Relations Federation.
Schmitt received her bachelor’s degree in communications with a concentration in public relations and a minor in marketing from the University of North Alabama.
