Huntsville Hospital Foundation is excited to announce that Asteroid has officially joined the team as Employee Paw-lanthropy Officer. In this new role, Asteroid will help promote well-being and reduce stress among Huntsville Hospital employees while supporting the Foundation’s employee philanthropy initiatives alongside Employee Relations Manager Stefani Williams.
Asteroid previously served as Chief Dog Officer through the Foundation-funded Canines for Coping program. She made history in 2019 as Alabama’s first hospital-based facility dog and continues to bring comfort and smiles to patients and staff across Madison County’s public hospitals.
