Huntsville is delighted to again host AUSA’s 2019 Global Force Symposium and Exhibition at the Von Braun Center. This is a three-day event that will include presentations from the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology), the United States Army Materiel Command, and the United States Army Training and Doctrine Command. The Chamber is delighted to have around 50 members participate in this event. More information about attending the event can be found at the Exhibition and Symposium page HERE.
If you’re planning to visit Huntsville for the event, the Huntsville/Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau put together a great resource page on their website that highlights information that includes special food and drink specials that local restaurants are offering exclusively to attendees. Also, follow along on the CVB’s Meet Huntsville page for more information about AUSA.
During the symposium, the American Freedom Foundation will host Warriors to the Workforce – Huntsville. This event supports transitioning military service members and military spouses in finding meaningful employment. The event will happen in the VBC North Hall on Wednesday, March 27th from 9:00-3:00 PM. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to register in advance. Employers, please also register.
