Brian Fox recently became the University of Tennessee Space Institute’s Huntsville Office Manager. Brian aims to support government and industry leaders with cutting edge R&D capabilities available from USTI and the broader UT system. His vision is to connect with current and potential industry and government partners in the Huntsville area and beyond, exploring ways that UTSI research staff and capabilities can solve difficult technology problems.
His prior experience includes Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships with Omni Federal, supporting 18F as the Director of the National Security and Intelligence Portfolio while also supporting a number of government partners as a consultant and strategist.
Prior to working as a member of 18F’s National Security and Intelligence Team, he led Systems Development at USGS’s National Geospatial Technical Operations Center (NGTOC) where he oversaw development activity in support of The National Map. Brian also supported the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency in a variety of roles, including joint military assignments in the United States and overseas.
