As our community continues to grow and we welcome new industries into our area, the Solid Waste Disposal Authority of the City of Huntsville wants to remind our local manufacturers and industrial processing partners of our shared responsibilities to properly manage the scrap and waste coming from manufacturing and industrial processing facilities. U.S. Space & Rocket announces selection of Dr. Kimberly Robinson as new Executive Director and CEO

The Alabama Space Science Exhibit Commission is pleased to announce the selection of Dr. Kimberly Robinson as Executive Director and CEO of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. A 31-year veteran of NASA, Dr. Robinson will assume her role Feb. 15, 2021.

EOS, SCI and Trail Life Troop 1613 offer support for medical clinic at Downtown Rescue Mission

The groups donated vinyl covered chairs and fully equipped cubicles to Huntsville Hospital Mobile Medical Unit's medical clinic at the Downtown Rescue Mission. A Trailman from Trail Life Troop 1613, Hudson O’Neill, had the idea for the project and sought donations from SCI and EOS.

Boeing gives ‘Save Space Camp’ campaign $500,000  

Boeing has made a $500,000 leadership gift to the U.S. Space & Rocket Center’s Save Space Camp campaign. Launched Tuesday, July 28, the campaign is seeking to raise a minimum of $1.5 million to sustain operations of the museum and to be able to reopen Space Camp in April 2021.
