The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) held a groundbreaking ceremony today for a new 80,000-square-foot engineering facility that will be named in memory of Raymond B. Jones, long-time business and community leader and past chairman of the UAH Foundation.

Toyota, Toyota Tsusho America and Huntsville Utilities announce 168-acre solar project

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – More than 70 percent of Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Alabama’s power will soon be generated by the sun. On April 5, Huntsville Utilities, Toyota Alabama and Toyota Tsusho America, Inc. (TAI) announced a power purchase agreement (PPA) to support a 168-acre, $49 million solar project.
