Christopher Finley, a highly respected program manager and Air Force veteran, has been named the newest board member of Still Serving Veterans (SSV), a Huntsville-based nonprofit committed to empowering Veterans through career services and advocacy.
With over 30 years of leadership across the military, defense industry, and government sectors, Chris brings exceptional expertise in aviation maintenance, business development, and operations management to the SSV board. He currently serves as a Program Manager at Torch Technologies, where he oversees multi-billion-dollar contracts supporting national defense priorities and international collaboration. His role includes engagement with key stakeholders such as the Department of Defense, NASIC, and the Security Assistance Management Directorate, leading cross-functional teams on a global scale.
A 20-year U.S. Air Force veteran, Chris is known for his operational excellence and ability to mentor high-performing teams. His career has included directing logistics for aircraft such as the RC-135, B-1B, and C-130, and leading training programs that graduated thousands of aviation professionals.
Chris’s commitment to service extends well beyond his career. He is the co-lead of You Are Not Alone, a nonprofit focused on Veteran suicide prevention, where he has helped raise more than $40,000 in support of mental health awareness and Veteran outreach.
His appointment to the board of Still Serving Veterans reflects a natural extension of his lifelong mission: serving those who serve.
