HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (October 25, 2021) – The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber is pleased to announce this year’s winners for the annual Best Places To Work® Awards! The winners were announced during a luncheon today at the Von Braun Center. These companies win based on results from employee surveys, and it’s a serious matter of pride to win! Companies also use this employee feedback to improve. Results are tabulated by Quantum Workplace and were kept confidential prior to the event.
“We are proud of all of our contenders and winners – these are exemplary companies who care about their team members, and care about making their workplaces inviting and productive,” said Chip Cherry, the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber’s president and CEO. “Using employee feedback to build a better work environment is the hallmark of a world class company.”
In addition, Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation® was inaugurated to the Best Places to Work® Hall of Fame at the ceremony. This is the first year for the award, and it is bestowed to companies who have won for 10 or more years.
INTUITIVE’s President, Vergenia Shelton, stated, “We are incredibly honored to be the first inductee into the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber’s Best Places to Work® Hall of Fame. Over the last thirteen years, Best Places to Work® has played a significant role in shaping our culture. Our employees are the pulse of INTUITIVE and they keep the company strong, and moving forward in a positive direction. We are privileged to have received the recognition from our employees and the Chamber consistently, year-after-year, but are happy to now pave the path for other corporations to be genuinely awarded as we have been.”
The Chamber is proud to partner with NASHRM, the North Alabama chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management, on the Best Places to Work® event. NASHRM is a hub for networking, information sharing, professional development, and support for continued excellence in the HR field.
“NASHRM is proud to partner with the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber for Best Places to Work® each year,” said Melissa DeVore, past president and Chamber Liaison for NASHRM. “We are excited to see the focus in the Huntsville/Madison County area of companies and organizations striving to be a best place to work for our area talent-pool. This representation of our community continues to contribute to our area’s economic development growth and is a place people want to work and live.”
To those in our community who are seeking employment — many of the companies honored during this event are hiring.
