Jim Entrekin and Othni Lathram of the Alabama Legislative Services Agency joined us for a discussion on Alabama’s redistricting process. Our state will soon undergo this process based on the 2020 Census results.

Chip Cherry, CCE, has been elected to lead the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives for 2021-22. ACCE is the professional society supporting the women and men who lead local, regional, statewide and international chambers of commerce and related business and economic development organizations. Alabama A&M University officials announced on Aug. 18 that an anonymous, young alum has donated $2.2M to their beloved alma mater.  The actual gift amount totals $2,187,518.75, which is twice reflective of the institution’s founding year of 1875.
