David Battle has joined Partnership for a Drug-Free Community as its deputy director, managing the Youth Tobacco and Vaping Prevention Program and as part of the Recovery Resource Hub team.
Battle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Auburn University and a Master of Science degree in counseling psychology from Alabama A&M University. He is also well-known as a former star football player who experienced his own addiction and recovery journeys and has spent decades helping others overcome substance use disorders. He is an experienced substance abuse program project manager and coordinator with a focus on outpatient and re-entry services.
