Dr. Alice McDuffee has enjoyed being associated with the HEALS organization since 2012. She has served HEALS in several capacities, including being a physician provider in the clinic, collaborating physician for nurse practitioners, and currently as Board Secretary and Medical Liaison to the Board of Directors.
Dr. McDuffee has over 30 years of combined pediatric hospital and outpatient clinical experience. She completed her MD degree in 1990 at the University of South Alabama. She completed a pediatric residency in 1993 and PICU fellowship in 1996 at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. She moved to Huntsville in 1997 to serve as the first pediatric intensivist at Huntsville Hospital where she worked with her
colleagues to grow the PICU, pediatric transport and pediatric hospitalist programs at HH for Women and Children. She retired from hospital medicine in 2014 to join the outpatient practice at Cornerstone Pediatrics in Madison, AL where she works currently.
